never seen the FFP link before. I'm too tired to read it, but I'll check it out later.

The more I read about it the more I find out that some people say stuff will fit that wont because they didn't really try and some people say stuff wont fit that they never tried.

If I did it, I'd find a wrecked mid-low mile MK3 VR. You can use the Passat or Corrado front subframe with the MK3 rear subframe. You'll need Corrado hoses, pedal cluster, and a few other parts, but really the MK3 is the way to go. A Corrado pretty much has all the right parts to get it done, but I'd still go with the MK3. The reason for this is that low mile MK3s are easy to find. Low mile Corrados are rare, so you're not likely to find one wrecked for cheap. Anything you don't use of the MK3 can be sold.

Either way, if you do the swap with the plus suspension (which I would), I'd use the rear beam from the donor car too. Otherwise the front track would be wider than the rear and the car will look stupid.
