Default *( Jetta guad grille

I just picked up a 89 jetta GL. I want to do a guad grille swap. I was wondering if anyone could tell me where to source the parts. I know I need rad support, lights, and grille. Anything else? Thanks guys

That's the list. Look around at the aftermarket suppliers... anyone who sells lighting stuff will probably have the stuff.

does anyone have any ideas of where to get the lights for the swap i know where to get the rad support just need lights. Thanks

that all depends if you want factory lights of aftermarket. i got my FK's from NGP racing. noticeable difference in brightness between stock and the crystal clear(the FK low beams were brighter than my factory high beams)

One word my friend. EBAY Just do a little research and price things, you can get really good prices on stuff if your careful on what you're doing.

How about the wiring, what do you need to do in order to wire up the quad set-up, I'm going to do my '89 also in the near future.

How does the grill look what you want to have? Do you have pictures?

3 words: Ebay sells junk. If you're gonna buy parts for your VW, there are PLENTY of places that will provide quality parts. I keep pointing people to the vortex, but that's the fastest-moving volkswagen site on the internet. People are always looking to do quad-round swaps too. They may be hard to come by. I found one @ the local junk yard for $40 (lights with harness and cut wires, grill, core support) and sold it for $80. I could have gotten $100 or more, but the guy was desperate and I was making 100% profit anyhow. Have fun
