there's a fuseable link in the primary electrical circut under the hood - if you're not getting power to anywhere that'd be something to look for - on occasion it'll have been replaced by a pep-boys fuse holder - I seem to recall it being located along the firewall - but will admit that it's been a while since I've been under the hood of a MK2 - for some reason I'm recalling a ceramic insulator block with a copper bit - one wire on each side of it - but I might be thinking a diesel on this one .....
Another thing to check (again, if you're not getting any power) is your ground connections - rust, crud and paint don't make for a good electrical circut. Failing that - the other obvious thing to check is the battery - if it's boiled dry 'cause of a faulty voltage regulator it won't do shit to start your car. Best of luck Steve |

im beating myself up over this but the damn thing wont start...eeerrr
ok low down on new symptoms car will pop start, power to everything, battery is fine.so now wat are my possible answers/things to look for.
