Need help tracking down problems

I am having trouble tracking down 2 things.

First, where do I find the resistor for the fan speed control for climate control? Currently I have full on and off.

Second is the safety clutch switch. The switch on the clutch pedal is working fine, but I am able to turn the motor over without pushing the clutch. Where else can I look.

Its a 1991 Jetta Diesel 5sp.

Managed to track down the resistor, but still need some ideas on the clutch safety switch.

I have been informed that this model year did not have a clutch safety switch, so I will stop trying to fix.
