Default need parts for my 89 golf

I have a 89 golf and was involved in an accident over a year ago. Car was totaled and i bought it back because i love the car anyway a buddy of mine said he would get a mechanic he knows to fix it up at no cost just need to supply the parts. Well when i was in the accident i got the car home and pulled the radiator, fan and some other parts. Now the mechanic is tellin me that the fan that i bought was not the right one and he needs the bolts for the motor mounts/radiator etc. So i need to find a place i can get these parts. Does anyone know a good pick and pull with these cars in them or anywhere i can go get all the bolts/hoses/wires etc that i need?
Thanks a lot

One of my family's favorites for OE parts is Parts Place, Inc. They do have a site, but I've found their paper catalogs easier to handle. Reasonable prices too, although they are close to Dealer prices we have here, once you factor shipping. But that's alaska for ya.
