Hey guys,
I am new here and new to the euro trend. I am actually a Honda guy, my dad gave me his 1986 Jetta GLI Wolfsburg Edition VW. Its been sitting for six years, currently not running. I am not getting spark, i've changed the distributor and still no spark. I have preformed a series of test on checking the ignition system; seems to be the Hall sender on the distributor (any insight would help).
I would like to do some modifications to it as soon as i get it running. But I have some questions about the mk2. Does the Wolfsburg Edition come with the "G60" wheel arches already? And do they come with a MOMO steering wheel?
Here's my list of mods that i would like to do:
New paint
Round head light conversion
G60 wheel arch (if they are different from what i have)
Euro Big bumper with yellow fog lights
Rear big bumper
Deep lip
Black housing headlights
Smoked tailights
Amber turning lights and side markers
And some Deep dish wheels
The car is already lowered, sitting on cut springs. This car was my uncles before my dads. He went with the "New Dimension trend" pinned stripped taillights. He hit a deer in Oregon and got a poor paint job which is now coming off. Here are some pics... Any insight or help would be much appreciated. -Josh
