sensors sensors sensors

hey all.
im having trouble finding the sensors for the coolant temp. for the temp guage. on a 16v is it in a different spot than the 8v?
also i noticed that the knock sensor on the front of the block has a crack in the (plastic?) is it still good or should i just replace it too??
or is there somewhere online that shows where all the sensors are located on the 16v?
if there is i havent found it yet.

Anyway -

I'd replace the cracked knock sensor and be careful not to over tighten the new one. Sorry, but I cannot for the life of me recall where the other sensors were on a 16V. I've got this mental image of a thermostat housing and a sensor nearby, but it's been a lot of years since I worked on a 16V.
