Default suspension help

Hi All. Looking for some help...
I picked up an 87 GTI 16V that is in need of a suspension. I want to keep it as stock as possible and was looking to get feedback on what components I should go with. Also some help on where to get the bushings for the sway bars would help as well.

My son and I are changing out the shift linkage this weekend (really worn!) and the suspension is next on the list..

Thanks!
Tom

if you want a stock ride...i would just go with a local parts store. but if you are looking for better handling and a little lower ride, h&r makes awsome springs and they are a fair price, kyb are good struts on a budget...and you can get most replacement bushings from places like bahnbrenner.com or nuespeed...but you will spend some $$$$

i would hit up local parts stores and do some research on what you want out of the suspensing...and what your wallet is lookin like
