Default valve train

Some one told me if i have a 4 cyl 8v i can swap the valve train to a 16v. He said the block is the same. Is it posible to do this.

Yes it's possibe, no the block isnt' the same, doing this requires far more than just the head . Do a search.

Yea, the block isn't the same at all. Those motors are different in alot of ways. And like Aaron said, there is alot to that has to be done in order to do the swap.

internals have to be changed all sorts of stuff you dont want to get your self into if you dont have to.just swap in a whole 16v motor if u are goin that direction.

Plus I think you would like a 16V alot better anyways. Alot more power, and potential.
