Default vr6 or engine swap

hey i was thinking about doing an engine swap in my 90 jetta it only has the 1.8l in it and i cant stand the engine cause its too slow
anyway wondering if i should do a swap or get a car with a stock vr6 in it . i am a fan of the corrado

Yea it is possible but it isn't an over night task. I would recommend a 1.8t swap because I have been told and I can be wrong but the mounts are similar to your 1.8. There are a ton of people on vwvortex that can guide you in the right direction.

yeah thats a good idea then i can chip it
anything anyone would recomend doing before chipping an engine to keep it from wrecking the engine
and are those engines easy to find and how much do they go for new??

I never heard of chipping hurting an engine I think you would be fine just make sure its running right and tuned right before you start decking out.

I think its a good idea for finding some good effect to the engine of the car.
