i got a 94 golf 2.0l 8v, hit in the front. i was wondering if the subframe with control arms and steering knuckle and struts with motor and tranny oh yeah and the trailing arm.......basically everything, will bolt up to a 1988 gti 16v........if so do i need longer/shorter driveaxles...modifications to firewall...wiring..etc.?

It all bolts up. You'll have to use the MK3 steering rack and the universal joint on the rack as the spline counts are different. MK3 control arms are 1" longer per side, so you MUST use the rack and tie rods as well as the axles from the MK3.

ECU and wiring is completely different and will have to be modded. The stock fuel pump however will work.
