yo. im new. very new.
hey everyone!!. i just bought my first jetta. 1990 gli. 16v DOHC with a five speed. it has the stock recaro racing seats in them. and the kick ass bbs stock 15's, loaded but with the crank windows, which is lighter. but im excited. ive never owned a VW. ive only owned Merkur cars. new ballgame with the front wheel drive and no turbo. ive got a few friends that talked me into getting the VW. it needs a few things. front wheel bearings, shifter bushings replaced, and rear engine motor mounts. but there isnt a scratch on the car. 136000 miles. looks like the timing belt has been changed recently, but im thinking of replacing it so i know for sure how many miles are on it. anyways. theirs my rant!
i like the VW.
