Default 2.25 cat that doesnt throw codes?

what would be a good cat to use witha 2.25 in exhaust? i want to get a high flow cat but i do not want one that will throw the cel. what sensors are on the 98 2.0 exhaust and where are they located?

i am also getting a raceland 8v header. so i wou8ld need one that would bolt up to that.
sry i tried searching but i didnt really find the answers i wanted.

You need a cat that has a post cat bung for the second o2 sensor. Buy a magnaflow one that you can weld on to the header cause i have no idea what the raceland header looks like.

Just do a cat back exhaust. You can do header back but its $$$, and you wont get much for that money. You will lose torque and get a little high end power. And more noise from your exhaust.

get a 2.25 if you have a 2L and 2.5 if you have a VR6.

so me and a friend got a little happy with a die grinder. we hacked of my exhaust cause it was "loose" holy shit it was loud! when i came home i told the family it " fell off" so now i have a ghetto cat back with a resonator delete. so its pretty much a straight pipe with a knock off flowmaster. didn't want to throw another $40 on the card for the brand name. it doesn't sound to bad except there is a heat shield that rattles. how would i go about fixing the rattle? replace the heat shield? where are the heat shields from the cat up?

Why does a header decrease performance?
