Default 4000 watt amp power question.

ok so i got a 4000 watt amp and i was thinking - run another battery in parallel with the first car battery and run everything with 0/1 gauge wire. and i'll do the big3 upgrade.
*let me kno if you'd do it differently

and does anyone kno how long of a wire i'll need from the battery to about the back of the trunk??

You really need an isolator if you are wanting to run 2 batteries that way.

Also an upgraded alternator and stiffening cap that's rated to run that many ampheres.

Oh, and I have to ask, what brand amp and subs?

Have fun listening to your car slowly rattle to death. Why would you even want that much bass? it's going to sound like shit.

If the enclosure is mounted securely enough to the body (with a sealed enclosure), he'll just end up blowing out window seals and finding out what's loose on the car to start with. And maybe some hearing damage.

I have two 1,000 watt amps in my honda accord, each one pushing a 15" kicker CVR and it's been running just fine for almost a year on stock everything except for my optima red top battery.
