GLX was a VR6 leather blah blah and the GL gls GT and what have you had a 2.0 or the 1.9 TDI. As far as the mk3 or mk4 depends on body style if it looks like a new jetta its a mk4 if it looks like a mk3 its a mk3 !

Do you have a plastic cover over the intake manifold on your engine?

it looks like the mark 4. rounder than square. has the antenna on back windshield. As far as the plastic cover, if your referring to the light grey cover with 2.0 written on it , then yeah.

Default 99 VW jetta wolfsburg edition

I have a 1999 Jetta Wolfsburg Edition and i know it is a MK3 becz of the body it doesnt look like the new MK4 body but the only thing is when you try to find parts for it they are hard to find becz they dont have wolfsburg edition parts. I was told to get 1998 GL parts for it. The parts work for it.

I Would Say The Style For Your Car Would Be A Jetta GL
