Well, hate to state the obvious, but did you wire it correctly? Did the original system have an external amp that you may have missed while hooking up the wires? Is your antenna wire plugged in to the head unit correctly?

It's been my experience that if you've got the correct power wires connected coming into the radio and the output wires going to the correct speaker wires, you should be getting sound - unless there's an issue with the new, aftermarket head unit.

When I put a new head unit in my wifes '95 it was a matter of identifying an "always hot" 12V source (for the radio/clock memory), a "keyed" source (so the radio would shut off when the car was turned off) then figuring out which of the speaker wires went where - I used a conversion plug to keep from having to cut the stock harness so I did all my wiring on the workbench with a soldering iron -

If you're not getting power - check the fuses - you might have popped one while working with the wires inside the dash and not have realized it -

Best of luck

Amped bose... sucks. Unhook the factory amp if there is one. Bose doesnt run off of normal power like most speakers

Yeah that was the problem. Had to hook the remote wire to the blue and white wire to get the amp power. If I unhook the factory amp, will I have to run wires to the speakers, or will the signal still run through the wires?

I ran mine directly to the speakers. Bose wiring is tiny and doesnt carry signal from a normal amp. But running wire is easy as hell.
