My passenger side blinker blinks way faster then my driverside... almost like one of the lights is out... but both the front and back work.... any ideas?
you have too look at the contacts for the turn indicator bulbs...or just the bulbs themselves...VW has put in a safety feature that the single light blinks rapidly to alert the driver that he has problems in the back with lights as he cannot see...
if you tried all of the above help from the other vw guys and it didnt work, check all of the ground wires going to the light, vws are bad for having faulty wiring, i think my mk3 has the worst wiring ever!!!lol
could be your blinker relay... try just replacing the realay, pull the relay for your hazards and put it in the slot for your blinker. if that fixes it, its your relay
Mine did the same thing, it was the turn signal relay behind the hazard button. Took it to the VW dealer and they said it was a recall and fixed it for free.
