Question Brembo Brakes!

I'm looking into purchasing a Brembo brake kit for my car. The problem is there is so many and I'm not quite sure which one to get. Can anyone help me out what disc size, piston count, or anything major I need to know? Lay it all on me! Where I live, people hardly know anything about my 97 Golf Gl. I was able to put on a lip kit on it, a muffler is coming in soon, paint job later this month, and now I want to start investing in performance. So if anyone has experience or knows a lot about this stuff please let me know.

Thanks

I think first you need to find a car that goes fast enough to utilize a big brake kit...just my .02

Just buy some brembo "OEM" rotors and you can still tell your buddies you have brembos.
