Default Cigarette Lighter fuse

On an MK3, the cigarette lighter fuse S-28 is not on the fuse panel, it is behind it somewhere under the dash according to the Bentleys. Even after cleaning the fuses and relays completely, I did not spot this fuse.

Anyone know in detail where this fuse is?

I will check tomorrow, Bentley's disagrees with what you guys are saying. My radio power is fine. No cigarette lighter power or light or lights for AC controls right now. SO that would tend to suggest they are on seperate circuits.

I wonder if there are variations on this for the same year MK3s depending on which part of the year it was MFg'd

I will report back.

Yeah, I cant remember the last time you were wrong, so maybe the cigarett lighter and AC control and vent section simply is not hooked up behind the dash. I had never noticed that there were no lights to this area until my wife said something tonight!.

Well tell me what you figure out because my brothers jetta has the same problem. Some dingus put a deck in for him at a shop and now his gauge and air control lights dont work now. So keep me updated on what you find.
