Default Dying from fustration

So my brain is spent on trying to find out whats going on with my 2.o. I have an 1986 Gti with an ABA 2.0l 8v I had work done to it. So I put the head back on with the new head gasket. Everything seem fine till little problem started slowly but surely I have taken care of the little things Now the biggest problem to date is.....wait for it......wait for it

I cant seem to keep my damn coolant in my system it's as if there to much pressure in the coolant system. Every time I stop the car just spits out what ever coolant it's got left. Can I please get some help it would be much appreciated.

I was guessing this was the right place since the engine comes from a 1996 jetta that would be a mk3 right.

It could be any of these 3 things:

-Your head gasket didnt seal and your getting exhaust gases into your cooling system causing it to bubble over constantly

-You have tons of air in your system from filling it back up with coolant

-Your o-ring on your overflow tank cap is pinched or shot. (Mine did this exact same thing, i replaced the cap with new o-ring and problem solved). TRY THIS FIRST, ITS CHEAP.
