Engine swap 1995 2.0 into 1993 golf 2.0, help
Just put a low mileage 1995 2.0 into a 1993 golf, runs great. Having problem releasing clutch. Clutch release arm is at end of travel. I checked the lever that pushes on the release bearing, its ok. The clutch push rod and release bearing are all the way in with no pressure on them. Are the clutches different on 1993 and 1995. It seems the clutch push rod is 1/2 inch short but new one is the same length. Can anyone help?
