Exhaust manifold cover rattling, loss of power

So i believe i might have an exhaust leak or a blown gasket at the manifold, its rattling heavily when i accelerate and ive lost some power, does this sound like that could be the problem? Is this easy to replace? i'd like to get some headers but right now isnt the best time to purchase a whole exhaust system.

I had to rip my exhaust manifold shield off last summer, the mounts got rusty and started rattling. Id say yours did the same. Dont waste your money on headers for a 2L, it wont make a lick of difference. Just buy a high flow cat.

Could this be causing my transmission to shift erratically? Ever since the vibrating started and started bogging out, my tranny has been shifting very hard, and downshifting hard also slipping in 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th, its an auto. thanks for the help!

Nope id say it has nothing to do with it. You have an isolated in problem in your transmission

Hmm well im going to get the exhaust checked out tomorrow morn at meineke, if theres a leak/clog and it solves the problem that'd be great, but if not do you suggest a tranny fluid change? Maybe that can help
