fuel pump relay

got a new fuel pump relay, and now clicking.car crank but dont come on.it seem like it want to and i smell fuel when i crank it. does any one have an idea

What was the original problem? sounds like a bad fuel pump. When you turn the key to the on position you should hear the fuel pump turn on. Outside of that, I don't know.

think fuel pump is ok becuse i smell gas when i crank it but i will check it

I guess my question was have you narrowed the original problem to fuel delivery? If that is the case, trace the known componets ie: fuel pump, relay, injectors, filter, and so on. So I understand that an engine needs 3 basic things to start: Air, fuel, and a spark. So if the problem is not starting or starting but not continuing to run, those are usually 2 seperate problems. Other solutions may be timing, or simply a poor ground at the battery or block for not starting. Hope this helps!!!

Power supply relay likes to go out alot on them too. Its under the dash on the driver side i think. If you go to the dealership and ask for one, they should know what your talking about.
