Default help with turbo

im sure this has been descussed...but i cont really get a good search since the search engine requires words 4 letters+ so heres my delema

i just bought a nice 93 jetta. its got a great running 2.0 with 130XXX and a newly rebuilt 5 speed w/ centerforce stage 2 clutch kit and new moog c/v shafts. im really wanting to get some power outa the car but i dont want to throw down cash on a vr6 swap since the cars in such good shape. i m thinking of getting a turbo kit to throw on her and maybe a hot cam with full 2.5 inch downpipe-back exhaust "borla or magnaflow"

can anyone help me out on finding a turbo kit? i dont wana piece on together becouse i just dont have the time to work out all the bugs. "my free time is spent on my vr6 cabriolet build"

iv tryed ebay and a few vw performance stores online and have came up with nothin

can anyone post a few links to some full turbo kits? cheeper=better

thanks guys, peace

eBay Motors: 27" FMIC Intercooler+BOV Blow Off+Turbo Piping Kit Univ (item 290313152767 end time May-03-09 17:32:16 PDT)

NO EBAY! only go ebay if you are near the seller and can go pick it up yourself in person! You never know if what you are getting will fit 100% and you have absolutly no warranty...EBAY = BAD!

Agreed with GTI....Your jetta if done will run the hondas off the road...reason? Hondas are cheap and Dubs are built way better with more performance if done right!...If you go with ebay and you start having problems DONT come crying back here...some people luck out and get exactly what they need others pay for something and find out its missing a gasket or something and nothing works...you take your chances...ebay is only for small things that you could not normally find locally. or where you pay for something thats cheap enough if it does not work then you can throw your money away

You can get your own piece together Turbos from any good aftermarket store...but really which one is going to perform better? the KIT for sure because it has been professionally made and you know it will work!

kinetic is probably the way to go, but they are expensive, and at that price you can pretty much swap a vr6 in and be at around the same hp, if not more, or you can try piece one together and hope it works, either way its going to be costly, but you get what you pay for
