Hubcaps

What hubcaps have you guys found that look good on the stock 14" wheels? My wife's hubcaps are ratty.

I know my 98 golf is 4x100. It's hard to find those aftermarket. I'd just get replacement stock hubcaps. You can get them on eBay for $20-30.

you could just sand them, get some wheel paint, primer and clear coat from auto zone and repaint them your self. probably like $20 for the paint and they are pretty easy to paint. im not sure i would qualify any hubcaps as looking good but itll at least make them look new. most aftermarket hubcaps are pretty qhetto looking. id just stay with stock.

Right but for that $20 spent on paint, you could get new stock ones. The draw back would be waiting for shipping though. The painting idea is a good idea, I'd just rather buy new ones if its going to cost close to the same price, and save myself the time.

Hey, I could paint them green to match the car.

Actually, one hubcap is missing chunks, so buying new for me is the way to go. But... it's at the very bottom of the priority list on this car. I was just curious if anybody else had found any good looking hubcaps.

I think the Golf would look pretty sweet with a solid hubcap, no holes except for the tire valve.

idk how much of it is missing but if its not too bad just bond the chip.

No, it's too much to try bonding it back together. Besides, it's breaking apart because it's brittle from so many hot/cold cycles and sitting in the sun.
