Jetta MK3 VR6 Airflow meter

HI there. im buying a Jetta 3 VR6 but the car has been standing fr a while and the airflow meter dont work anymore or is faulty, is there a way to bridge out the meter just so i can start it or should i rather get new one.

You need a MAF, just get a new one.

you can unplug it and the ecu will use a default setting but wont run great but good for temporary getting where u gotta go
