Hey guys, I just recently bought my first car which is a 97 Golf. I don't really know much about what are good brands for rims and that sort of thing. I am considering buying these 17" OZ Volcanos from this a guy at some other VW forum. Here's a pic...
http://www.fototime.com/%7B68B22977-...7D/picture.JPG I've heard many of you mention that 17" is a little too much for an MK3, but why is that exactly? Where I live, the roads are pretty crappy, I know that's one good reason. Also does anyone know how much these particular rims retail for? |

Those are going to look reall nice on your golf... I have 17's on mine and well it is alittle rougher but its really all up to what you want. I Have seen a few people with them and have never disliked how the car looked with them. So you made a good choice, hope you enjoy them man.

Kumho Ecsta vs. Yokohama Paradas. Buy another Parada.
As long as you have a nice drop, aka enough rakeage, and the wheels are spaced even with the fenders, then those wheels are hot. |

[quote="kundun" I'm gonna get a paint job come spring, but I'll probably stick with black though.[/quote]
Definately stick with the same color. That way you dont have to paint your engine bay or your door jams. |
