Low Oil Pressure

"1994 Jetta 2L 5 Speed 182k" Okay, I know there are a lot of threads about this, but it seems none of them are solved. I replaced both oil pressure switches and the problem still persists. The warning will go off at random. I will be cruising down the road at any speed and at different RPMs and it will still come on. Sometimes for a few seconds, sometimes for a minute or two. It happend before and after my oil change. I have heard that there is a screen that could be clogged, but most people say they are clean. I don't want to take off my pan unless I really have to. I really hope it is not my oil pump...

Yet... random shot at the dark: Have you checked the ground straps going to the engine?
Make sure the engine has a good ground connection.
