check your anti freeze/coolant level. Also check your thermostate and water pump. what engine do you have? if you have a resivour make sure you have fluid returning to it.And if you floor is wet under the passenger side dash then youll know if its your heater core.
Most likely a clogged heater core. If your car is warming up normally, then the thermostat is most likely ok. If its not over heating then the water pump is most likely ok.
You can unclog it by taking off both heater core hoses and running a hose with LIGHT water pressure through it. After that you may still have to put a new heater core in anyway.
Are there any write ups around for a heater core change?? i ordered the Bentely book.. it hasnt come in yet and i would like to start on it this weekend..
