unfortunately its hard to find quality and affordable in the same sentence....wanna go cheap..maaco(shitty work tho)....quality is gonna warrant a bump in price, but i think youll be happier. Check local listings for autobody repair and paint shops and ask around and get opinions from the car community, cant tell you much more since i dont live in your area. good luck...any idea on color you want? let us all know

Easy to find a good painter willing to do it for cheep. You just need to have the right connections. Theres a few good painters here in York willing to do quality paintjobs for low cost < $2000 normally... Start talking to people and try and find someone who knows someone...

For a good, quality paintjob 2000$ is nothing! He has connections, judging by his car, probably with the asian tuning croud

Never go to macco, keep your stock paint before going with macco

dakoda is very correct that when it some to "show quality paint jobs" 2k is just about a bargain basement price..... you can actually save a good amount of cash by finding a good shop and working with them for a price then find out how much they will charge if you do all the prep work.... thats the most costly thing when it comes to repainting! price wont be too bad if you do all the sanding and tape off the parts and areas that wont be sprayed

Dave, find me a place where you can get a very good quality paint job (jams, bay, ect) for under 2000$ without having a connection. Its next to impossible.

$2000 isn't much at all if your looking for a show paint job...hell thats about 1/2 of the labor cost. I'll say it again, you get what you pay for. If you fell $2000+ is to much for a paint job, there is a Macco down the road...

$400 and you get a very good paintjob
