Parts Interchange

I've seen a lot of ads for parts that state they'll fit a Golf or a Jetta. Is there an interchange guide out there anywhere to see what works on both cars?

Specifically, I'd like to swap out the cloth seats in my '96 Golf for leather ones (the DS seat is really squashed), and I've noticed leather seats for the Jetta out there but haven't seen anything for the Golf. Can anyone tell me if the Jetta seats will work? I have a 4dr.

Thanks,
Nick

They will work, its a common swap to Golf owners because some prefer to have head rests on there back seats.

All seats will swap in between jettas and golfs. They all have the same seat bases.

the only things that aren't interchangeable are rear bumpers and anything gti specific parts like two door doors and rear door cards and the hatch/trunk of course. everything interior wise will swap over.
