Default Place your Bets, Warped rotors?

The weather has been rough around here so I haven't be doing a lot of Car stuff. When it breaks I'm going to investigate the severe shaking I get when braking. It goes with the speed of the wheels and only occurs during braking and makes the steering wheel jump .

I'd bet the house my Rotors are warped. Any other things I should look at or be aware of on MK3s having such a problem?

A lot of times when you warp your rotors it causes a pattern to be engraved in your brake pads which will warp the rotors much quicker, so you might as well replace the pads while you're at it. Make sure you only get OEM quality or higher brakes (none of that advanced auto or autozone shit) so they last longer.
