Default Seafoaming an MK3 2.0

I am going to put some SeaFoam in my car today. What would be the best vacuum line to use on the MK3 2.0 engine? I've only found video and photos of newer or older models or different engines. The one page I found with the same engine had expired photo bucket images.

Any other tips for seafoaming would be welcome.

Not sure on the 2.0 but any vacuum line by the intake manifold will work.

Some people on this site caution against doing it in your oil but Ive never had anything but good results.

love me some f-ing sea foam

I've heard bad stuff about putting it in your oil. I would just put some in the vacuum lines and gas tank and clean the throttle body with some STP throttle body cleaner.

There is a vaccumm line that connects to your throttle body and runs down below your air box. Use that port.

As long as you do it right before you change the oil you have nothing to be worried about. Run it through a full tank of gas and then change the oil.

I used the line that T-s off of the brake booster and connects above the ignition coil.
It didn't smoke as much as the videos I've seen, but it does idle a lot smoother.

A canned petroleum product available at the auto parts store famous for cleaning and smoothing out motors. Sort of a automotive colon cleanse. You put it in a vacuum line, oil, and gas -stink out the neighborhood for 30 minutes and whalah -driving goodness.

Here's a link
Motor Treatment - Sea Foam

Prepare to be a fan.
