Default that sound when you start the car

how do you get rid of that little mexican hat dancing sound that goes on every time you start your car or when you leave your lights on?

there is a relay under your dash that has a speaker on the end. pull it.

I have a relay sitting in my garage, I have been meaning to rig it up into my car. And its more like La cukaracha than the mexican hat dance.

you have to take off the lower dash piece under the steering wheel. I think it is under there, but i might be off. I pulled mine out of a chopped to hell junker MKIII, never really looked on a MKIII all in one piece.

Drop the fuse box cover and look for the speaker. You really can't miss it. Just don't complain when you leave your lights on and your battery is dead :P

haha. My plan has worked!!! MUhahahhahaha!

I love the "La Cucaracha" sound in mk3s (not because I'm mexican...). If I were to have another mk3, I would def. keep it in.
