Smile Valves!

Hey guys looking into upgrading my 97 Golf Gl in the spring with this

42mm x 35mm 8V Hyd. Big Valve Upgrade Kit 96-05 Mk3/Mk4 OBDII w/ Titanium ret. (+2.5mm x +2mm) [109 926T] - $591.00 : Techtonics Tuning, VW and Audi Performance Tuning and Repair Parts

any suggestions on what else I'll need to get to make it run perfect?

Why? Seems like a waste unless your buying a big cam.

Well that's why I posted so I will know what else I'll need. So I need a big cam and I'm pretty sure an adjustable cam gear. Anything else? really appreciate the help, kinda weak in this area.

well your also probably going to have to take it to a machine shop so they can press in the valve seats. i would suggest with getting the better cam also upgrade your ignition coil and distributor. with all of that you should actually be able to feel the difference in power. unlike getting an air intake

Ok. Where can I find an distributor upgrade that fits well with my car? I have tried to upgrade it, but I couldn't find anything that was for performance. All I could find were the spark plugs and the wires which I got (NGK).
