Default good choice for intake

I would probably go for a abd q-flow or an neuspeed p-flow they both would probably add the same amount of horse power though not really much of a difference

The November Eurotuner tested 9 different intakes and rated them by power, price, fit, finish. They rated the ABD the best Evolution Sports second and Aem and GHL tied for third.
I have an AEM and like it -you can certainly hear it suck airl

I have a p-flo and I have to say that it's not that bad. However, I haven't had anything else to compare it to.

Whoops I listed those results wrong. I corrected them above. You would almost have to see the totals to decide on one. Even though GHL placed third, they had high scores in Power and Price value but they scored pretty low in fit and finish. The ABD scored well in power, fit and finish but low in the price score. If I would do over I'd go with ABD based on the review.

more talk here for reference before the thread went to crap(good ole'vortexers) http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1638184

Stock airbox, panel filter, cold air supply tube. Just like a 1.8t. It's all you need.
