I removed our sony radio to pull codes. When I replaced it, it worked for one day then it wouldn't turn on. I put in the stock radio and it was dead too.
I checked the connector and found 12 volts. Both radios have good fuses. What next??? |

I verified that there is a working hot and ground on connector.
I also checked the fuses on the left side of the dash - all are OK. I don't know if there is another wire in the 30 or so that connect to the radio that 'enables' the radio. |
