My ABS light and the "brake" warning light have been flickering on, just for a split second, when I park my car in the garage (I drive up a short incline). Happens when system is cold or warm. Lights do not stay on. Any thoughts? Are my brake pads wearing down? No freakin light came on to warn me before my rear brake pads wore completely away 2 months ago!! Dealer said front pads looked good back then.
My coolant light also comes on when I back down the driveway, but I assume it's just a little low on coolant--only happens on the decline of the driveway. |

I'm not sure if it's the same on a VW but my Expedition did the same thing and it was because the brake fluid was low. And when I filled it the light stopped. So check the fluid would be my advice.
