Aftermarket system

Before I go and buy all the things j need I just wanna make sure this is legit before I waste my money to hook up system
1. Aftermarket single disc cdplayer
2. Subs
3. Amp
4. Wires for subs/amp
5. Wiring harness for cdplayer
6. CD player harness
But just making sure this is how it's installed
Unhook the stock head unit and connect wires to the harness than connect it to aftermarket head unit, than run the RCA and remote turn on wires to the trunk, than run the battery wire from under the hook to the trunk, connect all wired to amp and subs, including the ground. And put it all back togther, put key in and turn over than cdplayer should come on, amp turn on giving power to the subs and still hearing music from the stock speakers WITHOUT having to mess with anything to do with the monsoon amp in the trunk, correct?
I'm just making sure other mk4 drivers has manage to do this without messih anything up and having a bumping system
Anything to add please add I want as many opinions on this before I start ordering the parts to do this

Well I'm I. The process of buying everything but do you guys know the name or code for the cdplayer harness that I will need. Not the Atanna but the actuall CD player plug in

Sounds like everything. Just go to walmart or bestbuy and look it up by your car.

go to a car audio shop. They will have everything you will need a wiring harness an antenna adapter and the mounting harness. At least i did.
