I think fukn was running a ko4 with all the bolt ons though, haha I'm not quite there!

I would just start off with a stage 3 clutch, but on a stock motor that just seems silly.
As long as the thing holds up till june. I'll have to replace it when I get back home anyway.
besides 300 bucks. Hard to go wrong there.

Rodger made them. I was uneasy about HIDs, didn't like how any of them looked till I saw a pair of these. Glad I got them!
I think it's an e55 style shroud, unsure, rodger can tell you.

So this possible jack pot is sitting here on creigs list.
I checked trans code on
VW transmisssion codes and ratios.
It's got the same o2j in it. And the gear ratio is IDENTICAL. The motor was a 1.8t.

This thing is selling for only 1 grand. I can rip off the alloys, turbo beetle head rests (trade or put leather on them! ), and other easily sell-able parts then junk the thing. My only thing is, can I use all the parts as a direct swap onto my jetta? Do they use the same sub frame and wheel base? or am I totally fucked and not a single part will work.

2000 vw beetle - $1000 (renville)

And I just found this information. The 1998-2010 New Beetle is also built off of the MK4 chassis. < Making me smile hard guys, will it work?!

I believe that should work. As far as I know the beetle chassis are the same as the jetta's.

Don't see why it wouldn't. They're identical as far as I know. I'm using a beetle block for my big turbo build

J-j-j-jack pot!

Haha if he still has the motor in there I'll have so many extra parts to grab! Turbo, valve cover, manifold, innercooler, piping. I'm siked as fuck! Just 2 hours away so I gotta figure out how to grab it.

I'll might need that thing, I've got an auto right now. :P

Oh, haha. yeah. Now if only it would warm up. Going to suck doing a trans swap on the floor of an unheated garage when it's well below zero. :/

Good find man

I rented a pick up truck and a trailler before to pick up broken cars, it should cost you around $150 for 60 mile round trip. If you decide to part it, you can probably get this swap for free with the extra $$$ from the part out
