Default Anything you could ever want to know about HID's

With all the questions being tossed around these days, I thought I would share a link that I found that clears up alot of misinformation about HID's.

intellexual net · m k i v

If it has already been posted before I apologize.

If you have any questions, I highly recommend that you send an email to Matt over at The Retrofit Source. I've been talking to him lately trying to figure things out and he has been VERY helpful.

Let's sticky this, maybe some people will cut the shit out with the HID in a stock reflector housing.

Thanks for the post Geezir, wanted to go for the after market HID, but I think retrofit is now the better option. The lighting ability looks alot cleaner as-well...

The complete retrofit will not only greatly benefit you, but also your fellow drivers.

Only person it hurts is your wallet.

Shoot Matt at the Retrofit Source an email. He can definitely hook you up with what you need.

Or you can go the really expensive route and buy HID Fixtures, and then bulbs, ballast, ignitors, etc separately.

Colb, I followed the link to your install. Is it inevitable to take off your front bumper to do a retrofit?

Yes because there are 3 screws that hold the fixtures in. Two of them being above but on each fixture there is one screw that sits behind the bumper. Why it's designed that way I have no idea. But yes, the bumper removal is simply to pull out your fixtures.
