You can do a complete retrofit (buying aftermarket fixtures, bulbs, ballast, wiring harness, etc) for around $700 and change. Add in a little shipping for that as well. For the projector retotrofit that Colb did I'm not 100% sure what that will run.

The whole retro was about $900 CDN, after shipping duties, and all that other bullshit.

components were about $550 USD
2nd set of GLI with fog headlights were 180 i picked up off of vortexx

So about say ruff figures about $700 USD

I know there's not that many people from the UK here, but just in case somebody picks this up: it's technically illegal to just do a straight upgrade from Halogen to HID lights in the UK.

Not true, the U.S. in many states has not outlawed the use of HID bulbs in standard reflector housings...which is a stupid idea in the first place. I hate people that do that, blinds those around you in every direction but behind you and lights up the road like shit.

ahh fair enough, i know for a fact it is, cops are starting to get educated on the headlights, went through a road block cops were razzing me about my headlights being custom, had to explain to them that they were legit, for the fact they have projectors blah blah long storry short i was fine, but the dozen ricers with 10,000k drop in hid were SOL
