Default Broken sunroof?

Just bought a MK4 Golf with a busted sunroof; apparently someone tried to open it with their hands after they couldn't figure out how to work the button.

My question is, does anyone know how much this would cost to fix and/or how long/easy it'd be to fix, both diy and at a mechanic, and is it even worth it? It doesn't leak, the previous owner disconnected and sealed it.

there is a allen screw that you can manually open and close it. its under that cover. to change them is fairly easy. you remove the headliner and its held in on a track. you would probably have to pull one from a junkyard or find someone parting a car out.
