Default Clutch Stuck

I let my friend drive my car and the clutch got stuck to the floor. It popped right back up when u would grab it and pull up. It happened twice when he was driving it. I never had this happen to me and he wasn't doing anything wrong. Cold it be the cold weather? Should i lobe it up. My car only has 15k on it.

I have never heard of a clutch sticking to the floorboard........unless it was f'd up.

*Shameless Plug* If you need another clutch, I have a sweet setup for sale cheap. It is the VR6 228mm upgrade with a G60 14lb lightened flywheel. It is the ECS Stage I kit. I will sell for $300 plus actual shipping, it includes all parts you need for the job including new throwout bearing, and bolt kit.

I would be intersted but my clutch is still slip free plus i'm going to school in 3 weeks so broke until i get out. I'm thinking that its from the cold, this never happened before. When it was Almost to the floor i couldn't put it in gear either.

If it's under warranty, let them check it out. They'll probably try and screw u, but it couldn't hurt for them to look at it!

I had that problem in my first mk iv GTI - it's the master (slave?) cylinder for the clutch. It happened exactly like you described and only did it a couple of times but get it fixed because it could happen at any time (pulling out on a freeway). I have a friend who works at a dealership in AZ and he said it's happened to a few cars there too.

Right on the money...its either that or the system requires bleeding, but I would be leaning towards the slave cylinder.

Well i do appericate your advice but i think what ever it was went away because it hasn't happened since and i think it might have been since my car was sitting in my garage for 2 weeks without been running
