Default Coil Pack went!

Well it's another one of those things you brace yourself for. You know it's coming but when? Last night the wife was pulling into the alley to park the Jetta 1.8T; when a sudden shake of the engine. Brakes begin to pulsate and the ECP and ASR lights come on. Luckly she was able to get it into the garage. I'm almost possitive that it's the Coil Pack. Jon I think this happen to your 1.8T GTI correct?

Please note to all - If this happens to you pull over! Controlling the car may not be easy nor fun.

I have a call into the dealership...most likey the Jetta will need to be towed and we will be one dubbless for a week or so. This is just another tick on the chart. We have been talking that this ride may be leaving the Snyder family soon.

Keep you all posted. It's just one of those things you know is going to happen so your brace yourself for it. But it's sad

Those are Pictures of his RC VWFORUM car.
The thing is bad-ass. While at H2O he was running it. Couldn't really open it up all the way cause there wasn't enough parking lot.

Get this shit after towing the Jetta to the dealership in the frinkin' cold last night. The dealership calls me up today and says there's nothing wrong with the car. I'm like W H A T? They said a few error codes came up and they cleared them. They ran 2 hours of tests and found nuthing? Whatever anymore...maybe it was a UFO?

Well i hope it's the same f-in UFO that my car saw. Driving home tonight, i'm playing with a M Coupe and while we are going thru the EZpass section, i feel a big jerk, check engine light goes on and same exact thing as before when my coil packs went. Rough Idle, bad egg smell. Well after waiting for over an 1.5 hours, tow truck finally comes. I'll find out tommrow what all went. If it's the coil packs that got replace went again. I'm REALLY thinking about selling the car. It shouldn't break down twice within a month only after owning the car for a year and a half.
