Daytime running lights- your thoughts...

I personally hate daytime running lamps but I love the new Look of the Audi's. I know I can't have the same look but looking for insight on what you think about l.e.d runnnig lights on a mkIV. Maybe best to use? How to install? Or just not to bother @ all.

haha you stole my picture. but ya Im in love with them too. I might be buying a new A4 later this summer and would use my Jetta as a backup car. In was thinking of doing something similar to this

except I was going to buy some ecodes and take them apart and put them inside there. Also I was going to search for some smaller LEDs.

ECS selks an FK version that can be used.

that looks freaking bad ass. Id actually kinda like to do it in the bumper and inside the light housing. Im trying to imagine in mymind how that would look. Maybe Ill play with photoshop later lol

eh I kinda agree with that, I mean when I get my new A4, I dont want to pull up to a stop light and have some ricer have matching lights :P

But I do think it would be cool to experiment with them and maybe do something creative with the leds, I dont think you should copy the style or design of the Audi LEDs, but I would like to incorporate them into my headlights, especially as drl's. In oregon its legal to have white turn signals and i think itd be cool to somehow stick in a high power LED as the turnsignal/drl?

nah man dont bother with those, if you wanted something like that put it in like the flares of the gli lip or what ever kinda lip you got like down low
