Electrical problem

This happened to me about a month and half ago. I was driving and then my abs light and trac control light comes on together and then my abs light comes on. My cel had been on. Then I noticed I was loosing battery power my lights started to dim and by the time I got home I had no headlights at all and could not restart my car. This all happened last night again not sure why it would happen like that all I had to do is jump my battery and all was fine. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas.

I have replaced the battery since the last time it happened.
Battery connections are all clean and tight.
Last time car ran fine after I jumped it.

Any ideas?

Just got a jump car ran excellent. This is pointing me to the alternator or voltage regulator on there way out? Anyone got any suggestions. I am assuming the warning lights on the dash where just a result of voltage dropping and the vehicule not being able to power the sensors or there thinking parts. Thus the reason the dash looked like a orange Christmas tree.

I tested output of the alternator at the battery I could watch the voltage drop. Looks like alternator.

these cars do some pretty weird things when the battery gets low so your best bet is to charge the battery and then start the car take voltage readings they shoud be around 14.3 to 14.7. if its at this then take the battery cable off while its running if the car dies right away your alternator is shot and needs to be replaced.

Sounds like the Alt, good diagnosis.

You might check the aux. fuse panel on top of the battery, look for any signs of burning or over heating terminals.

Well new alternator is on. New problem plastic tee fitting for coolant that sits next to the batter that has a extra 4th line that is small coming off broke and managed to ghetto rig that but as I was putting the belt back on the bot for the tensioner was to short so with some heman strength I broke the pulley bolt on the tensioner got a new one coming tomorrow
