Picked up my Gti about a month ago and im slowly working on it.

What Im Currently Working On/Putting In
-Spec-D Tuning Boost Gauge
-Finish Painting The Calipers
-New Speakers
-Put in Left Axle

Here's when i first got it




Cleaned it up the next day


The previous owner had the wiring done for this sub BUT it was all pulled out so i ran it back through where it used to be and put this 12 inch sub in


Stripped the paint off the ECS Tuning strut bar


Re painted it Red



Painting The calipers *Front Done only back left*



Plasti Dipped the rims
*Pre Dip*

*End Product*





Oh And i JUST finished putting in a new oil pan today *The Other one had a crack*

I really hope you strip the dip off those wheels, I like the strut bar (have one myself) but did you have fittment issues?

What is wrong with your exhaust tips??? They seem like they are different lengths?

I always wonder why people mount subwoofers on angles, but tours is upside down and angled, why? Haha, that is all. Nice car.

It was my first time Dipping, i fucked it up compared to other people's work BUT im most likely going to rip it off and redo it but better the next time.

On the strut bar the paint was peeling off it was a little rusted out so i stripped the paint/rust off by polishing it all with the cookie sheets took me about a hour to get it all off, And there wasn't any fittment issues i just didn't like to see the rust.

AND onto my exhaust i seriously dont know but the pipe on the right is up more then the left and the plastic is a little melted

It looks like you're on the right track. The color scheme is a bit dark overall for my taste (dark headlights/tail lights/rims/side markers) on a dark car seems like a bit much, but to each his own, without tinted windows . Then again, you just got the car, so it may not be your choosing, . Any other information about the car?

Finished Almost Everything, All i have to do tomorrow is sodder a few wires from the boost gauge into the 12v supply and im set. I was thinking of getting R32 Side skirts if anyone has any suggestions on where to buy them can you toss me a link?
