Default erratic boost on my 1.8t please help....

what's up guys...i have a little problem..
i bought an 03 jetta, 1.8t a year ago from a private dealer...it came with a neuspeed p-flow intake and some BOV i never heard of....i later realized that the way the intake and BOV were assemebled was to put it lightly, "ghetto" so i went to my vw dealer and had all the stock parts put back into place...
now when i step on the gas, the RPM jump from lets say 2000 to 4000 instantly, then goes back to 3000 and builds back up to 4000...and so on....
the only time this doesn't happen is when i drive like a grandma...
i usually had even increase in boost, never a spike like this, usually builds up evenly....is this normal...i know it is supposed to spike a bit...but this is too much....please help...
will post a video in a bit to help illustrate.....thank you

How many miles are on the tranny and is it a manual?

Now when you press on the gas, is the RPM jumping but you are not going any faster? Almost like you don't have it in gear and just revving the engine? If you have a manual, then it sounds like the clutch is starting to slip. I had the same thing happen to my 2001 Jetta when I had it.

when the rpm jumps, i get a heavy boost, i sometimes peel out while going at 15 mph in second gear when i floor it, thats why i don;t think its the clutch...46000 on manual tranny

so to answer your question more throughly, i do get speed increase, not just rpm jump, i feel the turbo spooling up, and car gets boost....i am just wondering why its not evenly spread over the rpm...

Boost leak maybe...mine was doing something similar to taht recently and the hose that goes from the IC pipe to the n75 had come off (granted yours is a tiny bit different because it's a 180 hp 1.8T)
