Yeah but it still has a lot of potential. Once wedding is paid for mods will start hittin the car. At times I miss the jetta I liked the way it sounded but its nothing compared to how the srt sounds especially since I have the turbo. I would've loved to have gotten an 04 or 05 but for 6995 with 85000 miles it was hard to pass up. I just need to get the flaking clear coat taken care of

I am check out highpsi.org my buddy ben is still in the process of finishing it up i don't go on srtforums to much its like vwwhortex for srt owners

agp wastegate down pipe with borla exhaust no cat twin springs with acr struts agp upgraded direct fit fmic i went big fmic typhoon intake and right now i have some stage one injector and extra set if you pay shipping they are yours its one of the only differences between the 03s and 04-05 our came stock with stage one and mine being an 05 came with LSD text me if your interested 3303483657 i am going big turbo and built motor so all my stock turbo stuff will have to go

I was going to buy his old trunk lid off of him and check it out when I went for it but since I have the srt now and no more jetta I guess I don't need to buy it anymore haha. I would love to see it in person though. I may not have a VW anymore but I still admire nice looking ones.

yes.. im keeping it.. and its going under the knife again. its got a grudge match lined up sometime in the future. all im gonna hint at that.. is im taking on a fully built 1.8t running a precision turbo 6262

anyway.. ive been mia.. have some issues as of late.. been out of work since october due to a polinidal cyst.. long story short.. they suck. had surgery.. still recovering.. should be back in work as of 12/21/12.. but in the meantime ive been applying at a few places.. had some interviews.. so we will see.

future plans (not race car oriented)
-sectioned subframe
-motor mount spacers
-audi tt control arms / spindles
(all 3 of these will all compliment eachother and match the stock geometry by everything moving up 1")
-switching to the new style air lift bags / struts set to release this spring
- dampening adjustable front struts and include front / rear camber adjustment
(thus eliminating the need for drop plates)
oh that stance is gonna be perfect
-headlights from greg theyre done.. and im broke

looking to scoop up a set of bmw x5's or alphards for beater / winter wheels
but.. we will see.. as of still im rolling on the futuras.

-right hand drive is coming.. at some point maybe this spring.. we will see.. dont want to have the car in the middle of the swap and show season hits.
-still working on pricing this out.. but thinking of an all wheel drive swap ... but that.. i will let you all ponder as to how the hell im doing that or what im even thinking

They make a plate so a vr6 can hook up to an audi all wheel drive trans. (handles 700 hp no problem) I'm sure you can get one for 1.8t. Btw, this makes your motor North south instead of the transverse bull shit. So you can make much better turbo set-ups.

If I could afford this it would be the route I would go instead of manual swap. But of course you need a whole new back end. sourcing that's the hard part if you have the money to do the rest.
